Economic Downturns and Distrust in the Police (Masters 2 nd Year Paper; UM-C, 2014) For my 2nd year paper, I studied the mediation of demographic social characteristics with economic climate on distrust in the police. I determined that economic climate operationalized by national unemployment rate is significantly related to distrust in the police.

Perceptions of the Police Varying by Race and Ethnic Groups (Thesis; UN-L 2011) For my senior thesis, I examined what factors may influence perceptions of the police and why such perceptions vary significantly by racial and ethnic groups.
