Time: 7:30 p.m. Chamber Doors will open 1/2 hour prior to city meeting AGENDA 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Roll call & Establish a Quorum 3. Reading and Approval of Minutes 4. Approve Financial Summary 5. Report from St. Hedwig Fire Department 6. Report from Code Compliance - Discuss and Take Action 7. Planning and Zoning - Discuss and Take Action on: a. Appointment of Code Compliance Officer as a non-voting member of the P&Z Commission b. Swear in newly appointed P&Z Commissioners 8. Citizens to be Heard This time is provided to allow citizens to address city council on issues of public concern, however, the city council is prohibited from taking any action or discussing matters not on the agenda other than to give a factual response to questions raised by the citizen. All comments made by citizens during this segment will be limited to three minutes. 9. Old Business a. Roads – Receive Road Maintenance Report – Discuss and Take Action on Road Work Needed. b. City Park – Receive Update on Park Usage and Possible Park Improvements, and Take Action c. Monthly Crime Stat Report d. Update on Wilson County ILA 10. New Business a. Discuss Tax Rate for 2017 - 2018 - Discuss and Take Action on accepting the proposed tax rate and scheduling public hearings if required. b. Bexar County Emergency District No. 12 is wanting to hold a special election to collect sales tax and use tax within the boundaries of ESD No. 12. The city of St. Hedwig which is located within the boundaries of ESD No. 12 and has 0.5% available for collection within the City and ESD No. 12 is wanting to include that remaining 0.5% in its sales tax and use tax election if the city of St. Hedwig will allow ESD No. 12 to collect the tax within the City of St Hedwig .- Discuss and Take Action c. Occupancy Limit at City Hall - Discussion on current occupancy limits imposed pursuant to the International Fire Code and discuss and take action on strategies on how to increase occupancy limits d. St. Hedwig Facebook Page - Discuss and Take Action on creating page and possible live-streaming of city council meetings e. Board of Adjustment 1. Appointment of BOA Alternate - Discuss and Take Action 2. Discuss issues related to recent BOA meeting and application for variance application filed by landowners Roberto Guerra and Edna Aimee Guerra for property located at 4282 E. FM 1518 N.
