GOLDEN AWARDS Rules and Guidelines

To facilitate the evaluation of the merit and outstanding performance, accomplishments, achievements and qualities of the nominees, the following criteria for the Awards are hereby established.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

MOST OUTSTANDING JCI SENATOR IN THE PHILIPPINES AWARD

The Most Outstanding JCI Senator in the Philippines Award is conferred, in recognition of the nominee’s exceptional achievement and outstanding performance, as well as, service to his Chapter, to the JCI Senate organization as a whole, and to the community in the spirit of selfless giving.

CRITERIA POINTS Chapter and/or National Projects, Activities, 30 Programs Implemented Attendance in JCI Senate Local, National 20 And/or /International Activities Positions held in the JCI Senate 15 Performance as a National Officer/Chairman 15 Community Service Projects 20

MOST OUTSTANDING JCI SENATE CHAPTER PRESIDENT IN THE PHILIPPINES AWARD

The Most Outstanding JCI Senate Chapter President Award in the Philippines is given to a JCI Senate Chapter President in recognition of the nominee’s exceptional achievement, implemented projects of considerable significance, outstanding leadership in promoting and contributing to the interests of his local chapter and the JCI Senate organization as a whole.

CRITERIA POINTS Membership Growth 20 Projects, Activities, Programs Implemented 40 Participation in JCI Senate National 20 /International Activities Awarded as Outstanding JCI Senate Chapter 20

OUTSTANDING JCI SENATOR IN THE PHILIPPINES AWARD IN THE FIELD OF

Agriculture / Architecture / Education / Arts & Culture / Banking & Finance / Engineering & Technology / Business & Industry / Government Service or Public Administration / Community & Social Service / Law / Literature / Journalism / Medicine & Sciences )

The Outstanding JCI Senator in the Philippines Award is conferred in recognition of the nominee’s exceptional achievement and outstanding performance in his particular field, as well as, service to his Chapter, to the JCI Senate organization as a whole, and to the community in the spirit of selfless giving. CRITERIA POINTS Private or Government Achievement/s 60 & Accomplishments Participation in the JCI Senate Local/ 15 National/International Activities Community Service Projects 25

OUTSTANDING FATHER/MOTHER AND SON//MOTHER/DAUGHTER SENATORS AWARD

The Most Outstanding Father/Mother and Son/Daughter Senators Award is presented to a tandem of JCI Senators belonging to the same consanguine family whose outstanding contributions and active involvement in the JCI Senate movement have enhanced the positive public image of the JCI Senate for that award year.

CRITERIA POINTS Active involvement in JCI Senate affairs (local, national) 25 Community Service Projects 20 Private or Governmental Achievement/Accomplishment 25 Awarded as Senators +30

CHAPTER AWARDS

MOST OUTSTANDING JCI SENATE CHAPTER AWARD (North Luzon, Metro Manila, South Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao)

The Most Outstanding JCI Senate Chapter Award is presented to the most outstanding local chapter (in each of the 5 areas) which is currently affiliated with the JCI Senate Philippines, in recognition of its meritorious accomplishments in the pursuit of the JCI Senate goals and objectives.

MOST OUTSTANDING JCI SENATE CHAPTER PUBLICATION AWARD

The Most Outstanding JCI Senate Chapter Publication Award is presented to a JCI Senate Chapter, whose regular publication embodies the spirit of an outstanding organ that promotes the best value of JCI Senate.

CRITERIA POINTS General Planning and Execution 10 Financing & Profitability 10 Quality of news content 20 Appearance , layout, pages 20 Circulation and distribution 20 Effective coverage (local, national, JCI Senate activities) 20 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. THE NOMINEE / AWARDEE must be a member in good standing in the JCI Senate Philippines, a current member of an existing Senate Chapter which is duly affiliated with JCI Senate Philippines.

BID BOOK GUIDELINES

1. All nominations should be contained in Bid Books and submitted on or before the designated deadline.

2. Bid Book/s (cover & contents) should not exceed the legal size of 8.5“ x 14” with contents not exceeding 20 pages. Font size should be Times New Roman 12 with headings in BOLD type.

The deadline for acceptance of nomination is September 21, 2017, 5:00pm at the JCI Senate Philippines Secretariat, 2nd Floor, JCI Bldg., 14 Don A. Roces Avenue. Quezon City.

The Awards shall be presented on October 21, 2017 (Saturday) during the 50 th National Convention in Legazpi City. The Awardees must attend the Awarding Ceremonies during the National Convention.
