The company will complete design and installation work on both the roof deck and courtyard entry to Watermark.

Narrative of studioINSITE’s work for Watermark The “sky garden” is a vibrant social space for active adults designed for both outdoor entertainment and respite on a roof-top deck seven stories above the city. An infinity- edge pool and hot tub, day beds, lounge chairs and tables, and vibrant plantings create a relaxing environment for WaterMark residents and friends. An architectural trellis provides summer shade and translucent wall openings frame unique views to city landmarks and long-distant vistas. Wood decking with integrated fiber optic lighting enlivens the ground plane while an intimate sky bench at the west end of the deck provides a place to discover panoramic views of Colorado’s front range, breathtaking sunsets and the night sky. As a transition from the historic exterior to a modernist heart, a secluded courtyard marks the visitor and resident entrance to WaterMark. The contemporary design provides a dynamic outdoor environment through the incorporation of sleek materials, provoking artwork, and sculptural seating. A balance of light and shadow and natural and man-made elements offer a compelling space to be both enjoyed from within and viewed from above.
