OSU fi nished in sole possession of second place, 2 1/2 games behind league Founded 1868 champion UCLA. The Beavers, in the preseason, were predicted to fi nish fi fth by the confer- ence’s coaches. Career record 925-530-6 (27 years) Career winning percentage .634 Honors Associate HC Pat Bailey (8th year) Andrew Moore received a large chunk of the team’s individual honors in 2015, recording four Assistant Coaches Andy Jenkins (4th year) All-America Awards while also being named an Academic All-Region selection while studying Nate Yeskie (7th year) digital communications. He was joined on the All-America list by Jeff Hendrix, who was a fi rst- Director of operations Ron Northcutt time selection. All told, 10 players received at least one award during the season. He definitely deserves this national honor.” The Beavers advanced to the CWS under Casey with an Oregon State single-season record 54 wins (54-4 overall), and set a Pac-12 Conference record for wins, while finishing league play with a 27-3 mark. Casey’s Beavers own the two longest winning streaks in college baseball in 2017 with a 23-game streak and an active 21-game streak. On May 12, Casey became just the 16th active coach to reach 1,000 wins with a four-year program. After opening the season ranked seventh in the NCBWA preseason poll, Casey led the Beavers to 28 wins in their first 29 games including the 23-game win streak. One of the most influential sports figures in the state of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, Casey has made Oregon State a national power. • Oregon State finished the 2017 campaign with a school-record 56 wins. The team went 56-6 overall, and its .903 winning percent- age tied for the fourth-best in NCAA Division I history. • Casey guided Oregon State to its sixth-ever trip to the College World Series, and fifth since 2005. • Oregon State set a Pac-12 record for the most wins ever in conference play, going 27-3.
