Imagine You Are Writing a Review for the Local Paper

That’s What I Am Movie Review:

** Imagine you are writing a review for the local paper. **

 You need to be able to give a somewhat-brief summary of the plot, time frame, , list 3 good things about the movie and 3 negative things about the movie as you see it.

 You need to be able to give it a rating on a 1-5 star scale, recommendation of who you feel should see the movie, WHY they should see it and the main message the movie is giving.

 You are also to spotlight 3 characters from the movie. You can do this by explaining who the character is and what their character represented. Be able to give one of the character traits and vocabulary words in your description of the character; whether they exemplify it positively or if they need work on it.

 This review should be about 5 paragraphs in the following fashion.

Paragraph # 1 = Somewhat-brief summary of movie (citing at least 2 specific events that have happened in the movie)

Paragraph # 2 = Minimum of 3 positive and 3 negative things about movie (and explanation of your opinion.)

Paragraph # 3 = Star rating, recommendation of viewing audience & message of movie.

Paragraph # 4 = Spotlight on 3 characters of the movie.

Paragraph #5= Brief wrap-up of final thoughts and comments on how this movie can or cannot compare to life today as a middle school student.

Due Dates: A Day= Monday, Dec. 12th

B Day= Tuesday, Dec. 13th

+2 will be added to the grade if you can email it, or bring it to me before your due date---BUT NOT BEFORE THE MOVIE IS OVER!!!!
