A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams, loving sister and brother. WHEREAS, it is with heavy hearts and deep sadness to learn of the premature passing of a loving sister and brother, Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams on February 26, 2002; and WHEREAS, Carrie Ann Beams, age seventeen, and Aaron Joseph Beams, age ten, were the adored children of Joseph Todd Beams and Jackie C. Scott Beams, and they are also survived by loving grandparents, Carolyn and Eddie Loyall and Olin and Brenda Scott, both of Summersville, and Garnett and Betty Beam of Green County, and their two loving great-grandparents, Audrey Akin of Green County and Sybil Pepper of Taylor County, and many other relatives and friends; and WHEREAS, Carrie Ann and Aaron Joseph were members of the Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church where Carrie Ann was baptized on August 25, 1996; Carrie Ann was a senior at Green County High School and a member of the FFA and HOSA, and Aaron Joseph was a fourth grade student at Greensburg Elementary School where he was a member of 4-H, and an avid ball player, hunter, and fisherman; and WHEREAS, in the aftermath of this tragic accident in Green County, Kentucky, we are reminded of the grief and suffering afflicted upon the family and friends of this loving brother and sister, how precious they were to their loved ones, and how their loved ones have been denied the opportunity of witnessing them reach their full potential; and WHEREAS, the premature passing of Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams has left a void that cannot be filled, and they are mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth; NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky: Section 1. The House of Representatives does hereby express its profound sense of

sorrow and heartfelt sympathy upon the premature passing of Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams, and commend their loved ones to the solace of the Almighty during these dark and painful times. Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Carrie Ann Beams and Aaron Joseph Beams. Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Todd Beams, 4238 Marshall Ridge Road, Greensburg, Kentucky 42743.
