During M Phil : Title : Efficacy of Social Skills Training among Persons with Schizophrenia. Duration : Jul’10-Feb’11 Supervisor : Dr. B. P. Nirmala, Assistant Professor and PSW Consultant Department of Psychiatric and Neuro Rehabilitation, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore Synopsis : The study dealt with persons with schizophrenia having social skills deficits. Based on assessment social skills training programme were developed. As per the programme social skills training were given to study participants and efficacy of the skills training measured and recorded. The above study submitted to National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, Bangalore for award of degree of M Phil in Psychiatric Social Work.

Synopsis : The project aimed at understanding psychosocial problems of children living HIV/AIDS. Based on the findings of the study psychosocial intervention planned and same were provided as part of Paediatric AIDS Initiative through Kumarswami Sanstha, Latur
During M SW : Title : Problem Solving Dialogical Intervention to Resolve Psychosocial Problems of Excluded Youths- A Life Skill Approach Duration : Jul’07-Mar’08 Supervisor : Dr. Channaveer R. M., Associate Professor, and Chairmen Department of Social Work, Davangere University, Davangere, Karnataka. Synopsis : The project aimed at understanding of psychosocial problems among slum communities in Solapur city of Maharashtra state. For the present study three slum communities were selected and based on need assessment appropriate intervention programme were prepared. The group work method was adopted for the life skills programme. The findings of the study shows significant level of change in psychosocial wellbeing and life skills usage in day to day life. The study was submitted to Solapur University for the award of degree of Masters of Social Work.
