*Homework serves as study guides for weekly tests. Please review all homework with your child to prepare them for their assessments.

*Homework can be kept at home or kept in take home folder during the week. I will collect it all on Friday.

*Each child should be reading at least 15 minutes every night.

Reminder: Please sign the behavior calendar every night. This is a good way to keep communication open between parent and teacher. Important Information

 Word Lists for Weekly Selections: Please use the attached page for spelling and vocabulary words to study for weekly tests.  Math Facts: This year it is imperative that your child know, from memorization, their addition, subtraction, and multiplication facts. Flashcards are a great way to ensure they learn them. Flashcards can be store-bought or home-made. It does not matter. If your child shows hesitation for longer than three seconds for a specific fact when flashing a card, this is probably one they need to practice more. We will be using flashcards in class as well.  Jackets in Class: We will be running the air conditioner on and off throughout the school day. Sometimes it gets chilly for the children. Please allow them to bring a RED or NAVY jacket to keep in their backpack so they can wear them as they wish.
