Council notes – November 23, 2015  The Provincial Emergency Communications Centre in Prince Albert will process all controlled burn calls effective December 8, 2015. The new number is 1-866-404-4911.  Government of Saskatchewan provided information pertaining to Provincial Bill 186 ‘The Municipal Conflict of Interest Amendment Act’ and the information and procedures that will be required by municipalities.  Government of Saskatchewan provided new policies and framework for consistency and fairness in municipal boundary alterations.  Provincial Emergency Communication Centre notification that agreements will need to be signed and the fees for the dispatch service will be $1.25 per capital.  The accounts for approval, Cheques No. 25674 to 25703 totaling $27,092.84 were approved for payment.  Two Radville Regional High School students are working at the Town for their Career Exploration placement.  Enotice for utility invoicing has been set up and consent forms to obtain email addresses have been sent out.  The hydraulic cylinder on the bucket truck failed. SaskPower assisted to put up Christmas decorations on the streetlights.  The Town pre-audit has been set for December 7.  Brent Kuntz received Class II Water Treatment and Water Distribution certification.  R.M. of Laurier #38 would like to hold joint Town/R.M. meeting at the end of February.  The Town office will be closed December 24 and 25 and January 1 during the holiday season.  Request to obtain pricing to insulate the town storage shop on Anderson Avenue. Council requested to get pricing on labour to insulate and sheeting of the roof, as well as repairs to the door and cost for heating of the building.  The Town of Radville will purchase a forty-gallon electric water heater for the town shop and fire hall for $365.00 plus tax.  Next regular meeting of Town Council – Monday, December 14, 2015, 7:00 p.m.
