Assessment Plans (1f and 3d) Assessment for learning:

Students will review the various parts of speech an grammar through various Flocabulary lessons. They will take quizzes for daily grades and do the multiple activities that go along with each lesson. We will be reviewing grammar vocabulary on quizlet and competing with quizlet live. Many of these grammar terms will show up in their mid-year ELAR test on Friday so it will give me a good idea of who still needs more intervention. Grouping and Student Relationships (2a) Students will work in whole groups, with partners and individually. Desk this week will be in rows. Students will continue to draw a number at the door to see what seat they will have, while I always reserve the right to make any adjustments that may be necessary. Depending on how well groups work on Monday, I may choose to keep students in same seats for entire week or have the draw each day.

Individual Learning Goals (2b) Students will build on their previous knowledge of Subjects and Predicates with task that will use higher level thinking skills. They will be asked to create and synthesizes rather than just straight knowledge level questions. They will have to work on time management as well as working together as a group. Students will have no say in grouping so it will be a test to their ability to work with others. Students will also critique others in a non-critical way in order to understand empathy. Procedures in Place (2c) Procedures in place include Daily procedures for entrance and exit, attendance procedures, procedures for warmups. Weekly Instruction Plan (12/05/2016-12/10/16)
