Look at chart that lists animals whose populations have recovered and not recovered from the oil spill. 9. Pick one animal who has NOT recovered from the spill. 10. Skim through the information and find the most interesting 3-5 paragraphs. Copy and paste them to a word document, and PRINT THEM OUT.

11. Use a thinking map to take down the most important information about what has happened to the population of your animal.

12. Write a newspaper article describing what happened to the animal you chose. Be sure to use your best spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
