BID SPECIFICATION SHEET FOR FB14-131 CONIFEROUS TREES 2014

Missouri Western State University is accepting bids for providing and installing thirty coniferous trees at various locations on the university campus per following specifications:

 Trees will be balled with burlap  Trees will be dug and transplanted within same transplanting season.  Trees will be 6-8 foot planted height  Soil must be amended and root stimulator applied at the time of planting  Holes for planting will be over-dug in bottom and sides by a minimum of six inches and backfilled with amended soil. Any existing roots of pervious trees must be removed  Trees will be planted at appropriate depth (top of ball level with existing soil) and mulched with bark mulch to a depth of four inches (Mulch must be pulled away from base of tree trunk)  Trees will be thoroughly watered at the time of planting  Trees will be staked and anchored with three posts per tree  Utility location will be responsibility of contractor  Provide a two year warranty on all trees  Qty/Variety 8 - Colorado Blue Spruce 8 - Norway Spruce 7 - White Pine 7 - Douglas Fir  Locations for planting will be flagged by the university
