Eyasu said that The Community Table offers opportunities; we just have to set up a date. We are thinking of doing this in December or maybe the spring. Stephanie suggested participating in Helping Hands Across America, which is a food drive being held on campus through student organizations. Whichever group brings in the most cans will win a $150 catering card. We will be doing our own competition within SSS and AIM to collect more cans. Whoever brings in the most cans will win a t-shirt! There will be a box in the SSS office and possibly the AIM office soon, so bring in your cans!! You will have up until November 17th when we have to bring the cans to Davies as an organization. Eyasu volunteered to do this between 8am-4pm on the 17th.

 Student Organization Events: (1) Free Sundaes on Mondays! If you are part of an organization on campus, you can stop by Davies 220 from 11:30-1:00pm every Monday in November for a free sundae. (2) There is an alternative Spring Break opportunity. (3) The bookstore is having an ugly sweater contest. All we have to do is submit a photo of all our ugly sweaters and we have the chance to win a $50 gift certificate that will be used towards a pizza party for our organization. There will be two winners, one chosen by the bookstore and one through popularity on social media. BRING YOUR UGLY SWEATER TO THANKSGIVING POT LUCK so we can get a picture!
