Modules Offered: This choice of modules will be running simultaneously. Learning is done in interactive peer-groups, guided by experienced mentors, with a maximum of 10 women in each group. Please choose ONE of the following 4 modules:

Module #1: The Significant Woman: Discovering your unique personal mission and passion for life and service in the Lord.

Module #2: Group Discipleship: Connecting Life and Truth. Growing in the art of facilitating discovery through relationships and guided discussion.

Module #3: Developing a Discerning Heart: Gaining deeper personal growth that results in more effective peer-helping as well.

Module #4: Mentoring Next Generation Women: Exploring differences in generational culture to ignite new vision for discipleship and mentoring relationships.

1 Course Schedule: Begin Saturday, Oct 15, at 5pm with dinner and introductory session. End Friday evening, Oct 21, at 8pm. 8:30 am – 6:00 pm daily with lunch and breaks. We will enjoy a worship time together on Sunday morning and a Free Afternoon on Wednesday for a break to rest or to enjoy the area for some fun/relaxation. (Note: your conference fee allows you to stay on the SEND campus Friday night, Oct 21, and fly or drive out on Saturday morning, Oct 22).

All-Inclusive On-Site Cost: $650 (What a DEAL!) We will be hosted by the SEND Hospitality facility in Farmington, MI just outside Detroit. To best protect an undistracted experience and to most benefit from the opportunities for interactions, we ask that all participants stay on site if possible (even if you are local.) This price includes accommodation (based on double occupancy) with 3 meals for the duration of your stay, Oct 15-21. It also includes training instruction, conference facilities and administration, pick-up and delivery to the Detroit airport, and daily transportation as needed. What a deal! You will receive instructions about purchasing your materials separately, depending on which module you choose.

You can also email your registration form to Dorothy ([email protected]), then send the check separately by Bank Bill Pay if you prefer. Note that it is for WDT, Oct 2016. We will confirm your reservation and send your receipt when we receive your registration form and payment – register by Aug 15, 2016 as spaces are limited – first come, first serve. Please wait to book your travel until we notify you to confirm your module at the close of registration in August, unless you hear from us sooner.

Refund Policy: If you need to cancel, you will receive a refund less a $100 cancellation fee since this is necessary to cover non-refundable costs. Since groups are limited to 10, cancellations affect the overall group experience and configuration as well as our commitment to the facility. Therefore, we ask that each participant make every effort to be present once registered. Thank you!

2 Arrivals/Departures: If you are flying from out of the area please fly into Detroit (DTW – Detroit Metro airport) on Saturday Oct 15, arriving by 3pm, so our scheduled start on Saturday evening is protected. Flight departures anytime Sat, Oct 22. Thanks for arranging your arrival/departure times so that you will be present from beginning to end, not arriving/leaving early. It takes about 40 minutes to get from the Detroit airport to the guesthouse and we will meet you.

If you are driving to the guesthouse, please plan to be there by 4pm on Sat, Oct 15, to get checked in before our training time begins. Let us know when you plan to arrive so we know when to expect you.

Advance Preparation: Upon close of registration, you will receive the preparation assignment 2 months ahead of time, for those modules that have advance prep, so that advance work can be reflective and reasonably paced. (Interactive sessions are normally dependent on advance preparation.) Be praying now that God will use this time powerfully in your own life as well as for the sake of others you will encourage and mentor.

FINAL NOTE: Though we will enjoy stimulating interaction and friendship, this is an intensive course, so we will also be interacting together in full days. But by being undistracted together for the week, you may even get a bit more sleep than you do at home!  (No husbands, children, pets, . . or chocolate you don’t plan to share!)
