SUBJECT: E227 Global Solutions Transition to Green E227 GLOBAL SOLUTIONS TRANSITION TO GREEN

INTRODUCTION

Since the beginning America has been in the business of energy and the production on products for consumers. As time has gone by America is not the place it once was with the increased need for convenience and lack of room for waste the United States is slowly starting to close in on itself. Smog continues to threaten the climate of the plant and waste is finding itself in the natural water reservoirs. While the human race pushes forward in evolution the demise of many animal species slowly deteriorates.

The time for a new way of life is now and we still have time save ourselves from our past mistakes. Pollution and waste affects our everyday lives and it’s time to change the way we go about using energy and making products. Going green will help every living creator’s existence without the company even knowing it, but we will notice the cost of energy has gone done and will continue to stay down. E227 Global Solutions has been

The way we deal with waste management on the day to day basis. How we reuse the products that we dispose of daily. Making the process cost efficient for anyone no matter the financial class anyone lives in. finding simple tricks to help improve our way of living and using energy that doesn’t pollute our environment.

E227 Global Solutions will be talking about three main things when it comes to going green. The first topic will educate everyone on why green energy is necessary for the continuation of human existence. Second we will find ways to make going green simple for everyone and third we will discuss finding a way to make going green cost effective.

DISCUSSION

SOLUTIONS AND BENEFITS

Getting E227 Global Solutions on the track to exercise environmentally friendly practices like going green will align the company to the needs of the people we provide materials. Sencicle, L. (2014) “Every improvement in energy efficiency is a step in the right direction”. The steps E227 Global Solutions takes should start small and slowly build the momentum to gracefully continue moving forward in the journey going green. Going green allows E227 Global Solutions to continue running our business the same way we have prior to this transition, but with a few benefits. Starting in the bathrooms we can upgrade our toilets, sinks, and showers to help minimize the amount of water used. How bathrooms help hotels go green. (2015). The use of quality engineered shower heads and sink faucets help to save water usage with the same enjoyment fulfilled before. The windows of the company can advance to double pain windows that blocks out sound and reduces the amount of head or cold from entering the establishment. Incorporating a new source of energy that is able to maintain itself off creating its own energy like wind, solar or water plants will help E227 Global Solutions from being dependent on third party companies. Eliminating the use of disposable plates, cups, forks, spoons and knifes. Items that can reused like kitchen wear will help lower the overhead costs. E227 Global Solutions will indeed speed money up front, but in the long run we will save more money and conserve more energy than ever before.

COSTS

The transition to clean energy is effective for E227 Global Solutions on multiple levels, but the primary concern we have pertains to the cost of this transition. Solar and wind power plants are a few of the best environmentally friendly energy producing practices around today. Below is a chart that compares the cost of today’s energy sources.

POWER PLANT/FARM CONSTRUCTION COST ($/Kw) ANNUAL OPERATING COST PER HOUSEHOLD Solar (photovoltaic) $2,500 to $3,900 $30 Wind (onshore) $1,760 to $2,200 $50 Coal $2,900 to $6,600 $85 to $200 Natural gas $680 to $2,100 $120 Nuclear $5,500 $150 - - -

Schildgen, B. (2015) “Solar and wind costs are lower over time mainly because the fuel is free.” This is outstanding because this allow use to keep our cost down to a minimum and E227 Global Solutions will cut out the middle man all together. Remodeling the bathrooms showers, faucets and toilets to high pressure technology will help save water by minimizing the usage. The cost of this technology ranges from fifty dollars to four hundred plus dollars depending on the item and model. Double pain windows also known as double hung windows or single hung windows are certified by energy star with prices that very depending on the type of window and model. These windows can go for one hundred and twenty dollars to eight hundred plus dollars. Below is a bar graph that displays the cost of energy. As you can see the cost of heating and cooling are the most expensive energy expenses annually. Installing energy preserving windows will decrease the percentages listed above on the bar chart. The cost of disposable kitchen wear like plates, cups, and eating utensils are not expensive. Having to resupply these kitchen wear items can become costly over a period of time and we believe it is best to use kitchen wear that is reusable.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Turning E227 Global Solutions green is a task within itself, but a task that is well worth the time and effort. Going green doesn’t have to be a one day overhaul starting small is the key to helping us keeping the ball rolling forward to future projects that will improve our environmentally friendly agenda. By rethinking the way we utilize water, eliminate disposable products, conserve energy and produce energy E227 Global solutions will be headed for success. Following the paved roads that were laid by other companies who decided to go green will help speed up the process.
