Since RY 2016/2017, Rotary Clubs have been able to qualify for a Rotary District 7610 PI Award, and Rotary Zone 33 PI Award. Hence, the PI Award can be a two-step process. The District PIA Award covers club activities between July 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018 (the last day by which the form may be submitted). The Zone 33 PI Award will cover club activities between July 1, 2017 and June 31, 2018 and have its own application and early August submission date. District PI Chair, Jim Holcombe will make these available only to clubs that successfully submitted for District PI Award.

Further, several goals included in the District PI Award (as with all District Avenues of Service Awards) are also required of clubs in qualifying for the District Governor’s Award, as well as Rotary International Club Citation.

The following requirements and additional activities options are a combination of both District and Zone 33 requirements. In this way clubs submitting the form have the scale and scope of activities that may qualify them for both.

Please use the District forms provided for your club-submissions. Be sure to briefly describe each activity and also include date of event, number of members and others that participated for what number of hours and financial investment the club and/or members made. This is the same level of event details as required in club submissions for Award of Excellence. Please remember that District and/or RI Foundation data recordings will verify the information for most of these questions. Then please total your club points at the end of the form. Please follow all submission procedures and instructions. No late submissions will be accepted.

Clubs electing to qualify for Zone 33 PI Award, and/or RI Club, Rotaract and/or Interact Citations must be sure to record all their listed activities in the Club Central section of MyRotary, including posting special events to the Showcase.
