We have been in business since 1991 and have grown each year since. We are a friendly, close-knit, small company with approximately 40 people between three offices in Indiana and Ohio. Fort Wayne, Indiana, is our "corporate headquarters."

DESCRIPTION

ERS is seeking an experienced project manager/supervisor to work on a variety of environmental projects. Project work type varies greatly and will primarily include emergency spill cleanup, AST and UST cleaning and closures, industrial cleaning services, and soil and groundwater remediation. Job will involve both office and field work, including becoming a member of our spill response team. We feel the type of person fit for this position should enjoy the outdoors, have a good work ethic, good communication and writing skills, and friendly and positive manner.

Requirements

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage projects start to finish  Proposal writing  Technical report writing  Manage/supervise field activities  Prepare health & safety plans (HASP), work plans, confined space permits  Ensure all field activities are following ERS health & safety standards

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 An Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience or 8-10+ years experience with project management/field supervision.  A background check, physical, and alcohol/drug screening are required.

Chemistry, safety, and hazmat background is desirable. Position has opportunity for advancement, broadening experience with a variety of projects, developing relationships with valued customers, agencies, vendors, and employees.
