COMPILATION. Caddies for students’ dry erase markers

Date: Thu, 5 Jun 2008 From: Bob Bogenrief Subject: dry erase marker caddy I would appreciate knowing how useful dry erase marker caddies or holders have proven to be. Which ones, if any, would you recommend? I saw one some years ago that would sit upright on a table and would hold several markers and an eraser. The one I saw is not showing in any current online catalogs that I have come across. **************************************************************************** Date: Fri, 6 Jun 2008 From: Larson, Eric I use old test tube racks big enough to hold the larger 18mm test tubes. **************************************************************************** Date: Fri, 6 Jun 2008 From: Don Yost I had great luck with test tube holders. Mine were surplus from MASH unit from the "war" before the "war" before the last "war". You can check at a glance if all are returned. It is best if markers are stored upside down. **************************************************************************** Date: Fri, 6 Jun 2008 From: mitchell johnson I just drilled a 2x4 to put the markers in. I call it the porky pine **************************************************************************** Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2008 From: Jeff DeCurtins I use the bottom half of old (rinsed and dried) milk/juice cartons... cut in half they make ideal containers for a set of markers and an eraser. They also make good containers for many other things (lab supplies per table, etc.) And they are free (if you drink milk or OJ). ****************************************************************************
