Alton Garrison Script, transition 1

Alton Intro: Alton holds a dime in 1 hand and In this hand I’m holding a dime. Is it possible the orange GQL tract in the other. for this dime to change the eternal destiny of scores, or even hundreds of thousands, of people?

In this hand I’m holding a tract that LFTL printed back in 1977. Guess how much it cost? About a dime.

A dime was used to take the Light we celebrate all the way to Kenya, to John Karanja, and through him to thousands more.

Just one dime…..

Alton Garrison script, transition 2

Alton: Alton holds up the tract again. One dime. One tract. Thousands brought into the kingdom. Kinda reminds you of a parable about some loaves and fishes, doesn’t it?

Another partner that is taking the light to the World in partnership with LFTL is the Assemblies of God Bible Alliance.

Each FireBible that is produced by this great organization is a beacon of the light to millions of people. 4.2 The story of the FireBible is amazing. Created by Assemblies of God missionary Don Stamps for the land of his calling, Brazil, this Pentecostal study Bible is now the #1 translated and printed study Bible in history.

There are now more than 40 editions of the FireBible in print with a goal of 100 in this decade.

Rod Loy pastors North Little Rock First Assembly of God. He is one of the greatest supporters of the Fire Bible.

Rod Loy script, segment 2

Segment Length 3:40 Rod Loy: My first trip to Tibet was memorable. 99.5% of Tibetans have never heard the story of Jesus. We drove through a mountain pass at about 13,000 feet and emerged on the other side to find a beautiful valley spread below us – our Use stills from Rod to show destination. elderly lady and light bulb. As we drove into the valley, we could see herds of yak and several tiny shacks – made out of sticks and logs.

We wound our way down to the shack of this little, elderly woman. We got out of the truck and began setting up a small solar panel.

She met us in the field. We knelt down and handed her a light bulb. She had never seen one before – had no idea what it was. It was amazing to see her try to figure it out. We connected the solar panel to the battery and then showed her how to connect the light bulb. Finally, it was time to turn it on. I can’t remember anyone ever teaching me to operate a light switch. It’s one of those things I guess I take for granted. Up is on. Down is off. She had to be taught how to flip a switch. She was a quick learner and flipped the switch up to light up the bulb. I’ll never forget her expression and her joy. She began to laugh and scream. The sound of her laughter filled that valley. She was holding light in her hand.

We ran a cord inside her hut and hung some light bulbs. After a refresher course on light switches, she flipped the switch. And – for the first time – light flooded her tiny shack. She began to celebrate. She began to shout and dance. Light!

That night the other villagers crowded into her shack to see the light.

We were so excited for her, but it made me stop and think. If she is that excited about physical light – light for her shack - what will her reaction be when she encounters spiritual light – light for her soul for the first time?

We brought her light. Now, we must bring her THE light.

And when that happens, what a celebration of the Light she will have out there in Tibet.

One of the primary partners of LFTL using the Internet is Network 211.

Network 211 uses 21st-century tools to proclaim the first-century gospel of Jesus Christ---The Light.
