This will be held at Broadlands School, which is on the site of the Aylestone Business and Enterprise College. Synod will start at 10am with worship, the kettle will be on for a cuppa from 9.30am, and we have a group of people preparing tea and cakes for the close of Synod before you travel back to your respective homes. Please remember to sign in at the registration desk on arrival, and bring a packed lunch (we will provide drinks). There will be a limited bookstall provided by Food For All, an independent Christian bookshop from Bromyard. Travel: Directions for those travelling by road are enclosed with this letter. Car parking is available on the school site, but it would help if those who are able could arrange to car share. If you prefer to take advantage of rail travel, a minibus will be available for pick up/drop off at the railway station. The only entrance is via Broadlands Lane. FROM BIRMINGHAM/COVENTRY Take the M5 south and exit at J7. (It is about 45-50 minutes to Hereford from this junction.) At the J7 roundabout, take the 3rd exit, Whittington Road, signed “A44 Worcester” Keep to the left, and continue left onto the A4440, signed to Worcester (W), Malvern, Hereford, Ledbury. Continue to follow the A4440 for about 4½ miles, always signed to Hereford and Leominster. At the 5th roundabout, take the first exist signed “A4103 Hereford”. Follow A4103 for 22 miles.

A sign welcomes you to Hereford. About 400 yards further on, there is a roundabout – take the first exit, signed “A465 City Centre” Continue for about ½ mile, and at almost the crest of the hill turn left into Broadlands Lane – this is a wide and well-marked road; there is also a sign at the junction to Aylestone School Broadlands Lane ends in a roundabout, and from here stewards will direct you in to the car park. FROM WORCESTER Pick up A 4103 to the west of the city centre and follow as above FROM MALVERN From Malvern Link, take Upper Howsell Road, Leigh Sinton Road and Halfkey Road to A 4103 and follow as above FROM LEDBURY Take A438 towards Hereford. At the Stoke Edith junction (about 1 mile beyond Tarrington), turn right and at the end of the road, turn left onto A4103 and follow as above. FROM ROSS Take A 49 from Ross to Hereford. At Asda roundabout, continue on “A49 City Centre”. At next roundabout, take 2nd exist “A438 Ledbury”, and after 0.4 miles, turn left into Commercial Road and continue ahead, up Aylestone Hill. Continue ahead at the mini-roundabouts (do not turn right into Folly Lane). After about 200 yards, turn right into Broadlands Lane.
