[3844] 2 1 members conduct business and enjoy wonderful gardenrelated 2 programs; and 3 4 Whereas, the South Carolina General Assembly appreciates the 5 labor of beauty that the Chapin Garden Club has contributed to the 6 community over the past seventyfive years and congratulates the 7 club’s members for their seventyfive years spent in showcasing the 8 Chapin community. Now, therefore, 9 10 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 11 concurring: 12 13 That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly, by this 14 resolution, recognize and commend the Chapin Garden Club for its 15 outstanding history and volunteer work in the Chapin community 16 and congratulate Mary LaFond, club president, and the club’s 17 members upon the occasion of their seventyfifth anniversary. 18 19 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to 20 Mary LaFond. 21 XX 22
