Match vs: Seaford Blacks Round: 4 Match Report Well today we hosted a new team to the blue division in Seaford Blacks. We did not know what to expect and with a fairly tame preparation and the early timeslot I was not sure how the boys were going to go. Seaford came out and showed some real drive. They were playing direct smart football and to be honest I think they took our boys by surprise. We appeared to have a couple of boys out of sorts so it was always going to be a hard slog in order to come out with a win today. The conditions were great for footy and unfortunately we played catch up football for the first three quarters continually making a surge but then Seaford would peg another couple of goals ahead. Zac TIBBALLS was backing up his great form from the previous week and Jackson VAUGHAN again was in the thick of the action, which I have come to expect from him. Caleb PETERSON had asked me during the week for a chance to play in the ruck and his wish was granted and he played the best game he has played since being involved with this playing group. Cody CHARLTON tried his heart out and Cooper WATERMAN again was excellent. Levi SOLE is have a cracking season and today was no different. Tom SULLIVAN was leading the way with his relentless tackling and work rate but still something was missing. Call on Kienan REMY. Kienan had hardly been seen for the first half of the game and with our forwards not in great form Kienan was thrown down to full forward in an effort to find some spark down forward. Well he kicked three goals in the third quarter that brought us to 3 points behind at three quarter time and then he peeled off five majors in the last quarter to get our boys over the line by 5 points!!!! It was one of the best solo performances I have seen at any level of football and the way Kienan went about his clinic was nothing short of eye catching. Eventually the scores were 12.11.83 to Seaford 12.6.78. Fantastic effort by our boys and credit to Seaford Blacks, they jumped us and were very very good and a welcome addition to the blue division. Mount Eliza blues next week at home again which will be a huge challenge!!! Goal Kickers
