Concepts

I. Clubs earn points by submitting Monthly Reports to the Conference Adventurer Coordinator. a. Monthly Reports are due the 10th of each month from October through May. b. Each Report should reflect activity from the previous month. i. Example: The Report due in October should reflect September’s activity.

II. The points earned from these Reports are totaled after May 10.

III. The Club(s) with the highest point total will receive the “Adventurer Club of the Year” Award which will be presented as a trophy. a. The trophy becomes Adventurer Club property. b. The Director of the Club of the Year will receive a plaque. i. The plaque becomes the property of the Director.

IV. Club(s) within the 70th percentile of the highest point total will receive the “Adventurer Club of Excellence” Award which will be presented as a ribbon.

V. Club(s) below the 70th percentile of the highest point total will receive the “Adventurer Club of Merit” Award which will be presented as a ribbon.

VI. These three awards and the Director’s plaque will be presented during the current year Family Fun Day award ceremony.

VII. Clubs that have submitted at least one Monthly Report are eligible to win either of these three awards. Points System

I. Points are earned as stated on the Monthly Report form. a. 160 standard points are available per year. b. 20 bonus points are available per semester i. Semester 1: September – December ii. Semester 2: January – April II. Points are reduced for Reports that are received late. a. If a Report is up to a month late, points earned for that Report are reduced by 10%. b. If a Report is over a month late, points earned for that Report are reduced by 25%.
