Target Audience This program has been designed for physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, and access coordinators in the medical specialties of internal medicine, nephrology, radiology, surgery, transplant surgery, vascular surgery and interventional radiology

Series Educational Objectives After completing this activity, participants should be able to:  Describe the rationale for avoiding subclavian catheterization in the ESRD population  List three reasons fistulae are superior to grafts and catheters  Explain the rational for reducing catheter-based dialysis
