Local Interagency Coordinating Council

The Pittsburgh/Allegheny County Local Interagency Coordinating Council (known as the LICC) is an advisory group whose members have a common interest in children who are involved in early intervention services in Allegheny County.

Parent members provide a family perspective on issues that affect children and families in early intervention. Community service providers also participate, along with representatives from local education agencies, the Allegheny County Health Department, HeadStart, Children, Youth & Families (CYF), and the County Department of Human Services.

There are several ways that you can bring your ideas to the LICC:

 A phone call or letter to any LICC member is always welcome.  You may attend meetings or parent trainings held throughout the year.  You may become a member of the LICC or one of its committees.
