Two declarations are required. The first is a declaration of willingness to serve and the second is a declaration of material interests. The declaration of material interests will be lodged in the library for public view in the event of your election to Council. Each declaration must be signed separately.

Declaration of Willingness to serve

I confirm that I am willing, if elected, to serve as an Internationally Elected Member of the RIBA Council for a 3 year period starting in September 2017 and that I know of no legal reason why I would be ineligible to stand as a Councillor.

I confirm that I understand the fundamental duties and responsibilities of the RIBA Councillor as described in the Guidance documents and that I will act in good faith in accordance with the law and within the policy and strategy of the RIBA.
