Mayor, City of Pewee Valley

In response to the Assistant Superintendant of Oldham County Schools Dan Orman's presentation at the March 2014 City Council meeting, the City of Pewee Valley will regularly sponsor families in need. We are asking for civic and community groups, churches, and individuals to provide support to our children and families in crisis by donating clothing, non-perishable goods, and volunteer time. We will try to sponsor a family each month attending to their specific needs. Information will be published in the Call of the Pewee and on the City's website. Items can be dropped off at Town Hall from 9:30 to 12:30 Monday through Friday. (Or call Town Hall to arrange a drop-off time, 241-8343.) Our community has a history of generosity and I ask for your support.

 Backpacks

 School supplies

 Food staples: peanut butter, canned goods, applesauce, soup, boxed mac and cheese, etc.
