SCHEDULING AND HEARING FEES:
The scheduling fee is incurred when the proceeding is scheduled for a substantive hearing. Hearing fees are incurred after the first half day of the hearing. The party bringing the proceeding is liable to pay the scheduling and hearing fees as set out in the High Court Fees Regulations.
The fees must be pre-paid in accordance with the High Court Fees Regulations 2013.
These fees are:
$640 per half day or part of a half day after the first half day (concession rate proceeding). $1600 per half day or part of a half day after the first half day for any other proceeding.
The time allocated by the Court provides an indication of your potential liability for Court hearing fees in this case.
FIXTURE DATE: (Auckland only) If you have been allocated a callover date, your case is listed for hearing during the week notified. A specific date and time will be allocated at the Callover. If you have not been allocated a callover date then your case has been listed for hearing on the date and time specified.
CALLOVER: (Auckland only) Appearance at Callover is essential as trial dates will be fixed and notified at that time. Where possible Counsel’s other commitments will be accommodated. The list of cases to be heard during the week of your fixture will be available upon request at the Civil Registry.
