Job Title Academy Part Time Coach Department Academy Location Colney Training Centre Accountable To Academy Manager, Academy Head of Coaching, Phase Lead Coach Accountable For Budget Band Financial Responsibility No 4 Holder Level
ROLE SUMMARY
The Academy Part Time Coach will deliver the relevant Phase specific coaching curriculum, under the guidance of the Phase Lead Coach. They will ensure session planning and match preparation and evaluation documentation are up-to-date and accurate, and assist the Phase Lead Coach when required.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery of the relevant Phase specific coaching curriculum Ensure correct coach to player ratio exists within training sessions Assist with staff/player reviews within relevant Phase Assist in the identification and recruitment of talented young players into the Academy system Formal session plans to be produced and recorded for every session delivered Match preparation and evaluation to be conducted and recorded for all fixtures Assist Phase Lead Coach Administration within the relevant Phase

All applicants should be: Self-motivated and committed A strategic planner, organiser and co-ordinator Confident and able to work individually and as part of a successful team A ‘people person’ with excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledgeable and possess experience of working within the football environment Computer literate Able to drive
All applicants should have the following qualifications: Age Specific FA Youth Award UEFA B Licence Licence Maintenance
All applicants would benefit from the following: FA Youth Award (Advanced) UEFA A Licence Teaching Qualification Teaching Qualification in PE/Sport Degree/Masters/Postgraduate in Sports Sciences Experience as a Football Player at Junior/Amateur/Semi-Professional/Professional level Experience as a Youth/Head Coach at Grassroots/Centre of Excellence/Academy

General Applicants will: 1. They will build relationships with the Academy players and strive to develop them as people as well as footballers.
Specific 5. Deliver the relevant Phase specific coaching curriculum. 6. Produce formal session plans for all sessions. 7. Produce match preparation and evaluation for all fixtures. 8. Assist in the completion and delivery of staff/player progress reviews in relevant Phase. 9. Complete player progress reports in conjunction with Phase Lead Coach. 10. Attend and participate in all internal and external CPD events.
