Küberit „Euro-Step Star“- the new stair nosing profile system for LVT floorings

LVT flooring is a common trend used by architects and craftsmen in public areas. The safety and building regulations for flooring is related to strict rules – in particular for stair nosings where slip- resistance must be confirmed. Therefore Küberit has developed the new stair nosing profile system „Euro-Step Star“. This screwable profile system is universally adjustable and can be used for LVT floor coverings from 4 – 9 mm.

Küberit „Euro-Step Star“ (profile 325) is the perfect stair nosing solution made of high-quality aluminium. The profile system consists of a top profile and a base profile and is extremely solid. „Euro-Step Star” can be easily fastened as every stair nosing system from the market leader of high-quality flooring trims.

The system is available in the common anodized colors silver, gold, sand, bronze and in stainless steel optic in lengths of 1.00, 2.70 and 3.00 m. The thin grooves in the edge of the top profile create a decent optic and guarantee slip-resistance.

The new TÜV safety certified profile system from the South Westphalian manufacturer is a professional and solid solution for LVT floorings.

Easy fasting - visual highlight The base profile has to be fastened on the step with screws and/or adhesive. The LVT-Floor has to be adapted to the tread and will be glued with regard of an expansion joint. Afterwards the top profile can be placed on the base profile and fastened with the suitable torx screws. „Euro-Step Star“ can be used for common stairs and spiral staircases as well as for platforms. Moreover the profile types 400 and 402 can be used for straight and winder staircases. For open stairs, Küberit offers the matching side trim type 401. The result will be a perfect visional and functional finish.
