10. Would a photograph of a car be appropriate for a web page about gardening? Why or why not? No because a car doesn’t have anything to do with gardening.

11. Where do elements need to be placed on a web page in order to be above the fold? Near the top of the page.

12. A) What is white space? Any blank area on a page, regardless of the color. B) Why is white space important in the design of a web page? Because if there isn’t any white space, it would all be squeezed together in the page and the user might click away from the page.

13. A) How is consistency in a website achieved? By using the assets panel in the dreamweaver application. B) What is a visual cue? A visual cue is a pattern or object that the user sees and identifies quickly after repeated use.

14. A) What is usability? Usability is a design concept that refers to how easily the user can navigate through the pages of a website to find information. B) List two ways to increase the usability of a website. Navigation bars and a breadcrumb trail.

22. Why should a time stamp be used in a web page document instead of typing the date? So that it will automatically update the date and time and so you won’t have to keep typing it on the pages.

24. If a web page does not contain a copyright notice, is the information on the webpage entitled to copyright protection? Yes it is entitled to copyright protection.
