BHEL Hyderabad has a vide and rich experience of manufacturing Steam and Gas Turbines apart from Electrical Machines, etc.

BHEL Hyderabad is serving in almost all the industries like Power Generation, Cement Industry, Steel Industry, Petrochemicals and Fertilizers, Oil sectors etc. Future Market for Turbines:

In order to further enhance our capability and build up on existing strength to meet future market requirements, BHEL intends to register suitable leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The detailed terms and conditions can be mutually agreed upon. Initially for a period of 2 years and thereafter it will be renewed periodically based on the OEM’s performance. BHEL will issue enquiries to the registered vendors for these castings / forgings.

Annual Requirement:

1. Rotor Forgings (60 Nos.) ranging from 600 Kgs to 45,000 Kgs each. 2. Outer Casing Castings (60 Nos.) ranging from 1,000Kgs 30,000Kgs.

Proposal:

We are seeking expression of interest (EOI) from OEMs for discussing the modalities for a suitable tie up with a leading OEM who is willing for supply of Rotor Forgings to BHEL, Hyderabad, India. The nature of tie up will be decided based on the response of OEMs.

The initial response of interested parties should be accompanied by details as listed below.

 Brief description of the company with manufacturing / testing facilities.  Product profile and range, technical features and product catalogue.  Reference list of major clients and supplies in the last 5 years.  Brief description of existing / ongoing tie-ups, if any.  Details of ISO certification with validity.

BHEL shall pre-qualify the interested companies.

OEM having sufficient strength for supply of the Rotor Forgings and Outer Casing Castings as per the following drawing Nos. / Specifications (can be had in our web site www.bhel.com).

BHEL may accept or reject any expression of interest without thereby incurring any liability or any obligation to inform the affected companies of the grounds for BHEL’s action. After completion of the pre-qualification assessment, BHEL will approach to the qualified companies / vendors accordingly, for further discussions.
