The Annandale High School Cardettes Dance Team is excited to host your teams at the 2014 Wright County Conference Dance Team High Kick Meet. Attached you will find a schedule of the day, performance order and times and marking times.

Registration 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm Registration will begin at 3:45 pm. Busses may drop off dancers at the front doors of the high school. A member of the Cardettes Dance Team will escort you to your team’s room and give you a tour of the facilities. Please bring your team’s data sheet with you to registration. You may sign up for a uniform check (if needed) at registration.

Busses- 3:30 pm Please have your bus drop off coaches and dancers at the Annandale High School front entrance. Team bus parking. School will be in session until 3:05PM on Thurs, Dec 11th, and the bus loading lot in front of the high school will not be cleared and available for dance team bus parking until 3:30PM. Please try to arrive after 3:30 pm. After the high school bus loading lot is cleared (after 3:30PM), the bus loading lot in front of the high school will be reserved for dance team buses.

Marking Times Marking times begin at 4:20 am. We tried our best to set the order for marking times based of proximity to Annandale High School, with the closest schools going first and the farthest towards the end to allow for travel time. Marking will be done on the actual performance floor. Each team will receive 5 minutes for marking as per the WCC Dance Team Policies. If you need to make a change to your marking time or you would like to decline your marking time, please let us know. Please bring a CD to the gym for marking, and have an extra copy that you will keep with you. Tom Thurk will be running our sound system for the competition.

Competition The competition will begin at 6:30 pm as per the WCC Dance Team Policies. Five JAM-certified judges have been hired for this competition, along with one JAM-certified tabulator and two kick counter/timers. We will begin with the varsity kick competition, followed by the JV teams. The order of performance was done by random draw in each division. JV teams will be scored and ranked this year, per the WCC Dance Team Policies, with the top two JV teams being announced at awards prior to the announcement of the top three teams for Varsity. Team scores will be available at the end of the meet and can be picked up in the coaches’ room. Final results from the meet, including points earned for the conference will be sent to all Head Coaches as well as your school’s Athletic Director.

Spectators Ticket sales will begin at 5:45 pm, and gym doors will open at 6:00 pm. Admission will be $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students and senior citizens. Coaches’ Meeting There will be a coaches’ meeting held in the Coaches Room, located in the AHS FACS Room (Room 104) at 5:50 pm.

Concessions Concessions will be available for purchase. A coaches’ hospitality room will be available all day.
