***Use this rubric as a reference guide and turn it in with your notes on Friday. Expectations: Create an informative PowerPoint presentation regarding an invention. The report explores the history of a scientific invention and how the invention affects society. The purpose allows an opportunity to evaluate students’ research, writing and presentation skills. After presenting the highlights of the research conducted, further development will conclude in English class with a one page report. Students demonstrate skills by providing the following information pertaining to the invention:

Paragraph (Slide) 1: Describe the invention. Paragraph (Slide) 2: Who, when and where? Paragraph (Slide) 3: Materials and assembly procedures. Paragraph (Slide) 4: How the invention changed/changes lives. Include any improvements since the initial invention. Paragraph (Slide) 5: Evaluate the pros and cons of scientific discoveries. Each paragraph should have at least five sentences.
