Monthly meeting minutes

December 20, 2016

Pledge of allegiance was recited.

The regular monthly board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairperson Sherry Tischendorf.

Members present were Chairperson Sherry Tischendorf, Supervisor Bill Rudis, Clerk Judy May, and Treasurer Tina Schmidt. Absent: Supervisor Phil Kriesel. There were 8 audience members present. Roll call completed.

Agenda was posted in four places and the town website.

Supervisor Rudis made a motion and seconded by Chairperson Tischendorf to approve the Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes and Special Meeting Minutes of November 15, 2016. Motion carried by voice vote.

Supervisor Rudis made a motion to accept the December 2016 Expenditures as presented. Motion was seconded by Chairperson Tischendorf. Motion carried by voice vote.

Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer Schmidt reported an adjusted balance of $421,335.75.

New Business:

First agenda item: Tim Brunette – First Responder. This agenda item was postponed until Tim’s arrival. See below*

Second agenda item: Election recount report – Clerk May reported that the Oneida County Clerk informed her that all numbers matched perfectly to what was originally reported. She thanked her poll workers for their great work in the November election.

Old Business:

First agenda item: Town Roads

 No projects or roadwork being done at this time.

 Treasurer Schmidt noted that their area roads look great.

 Audience member stated their roads were better than others outside of the Town of Woodboro.

Second agenda item: Public Comments-

 Audience member had a question about the Oneida Lake Access. Chairperson Tischendorf informed that Mr. Rogan is still looking through the surveys.

 Chair Tischendorf informed the public that there will be an upcoming agenda item next month regarding information WPS needs prior to switching to underground cables.

*Return to New Business First Agenda Item:

Tim Brunette, First Responder, provided the Town Board with the 2016 Reimbursement, Checking and Savings reports. He also reported that there have been 34 calls to date. All First Responders will need re-training in 2017. Tim explained the budget and monies spent to the audience and board members.

A motion was made by Supervisor Rudis and seconded by Chair Tischendorf to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m. Motion carried by voice vote.
