FUN RUN 2014

Fun Run is on Friday, September 25th. Don’t forget to dress for a day filled with fun. All learners should wear something comfortable and gym shoes. Box Tops for Education- The PTO earns $.10 for every box top that is clipped and submitted. The BOX TOPS contest began 8/28 and ends 9/24. Return your collection sheet of 25 tops or place them in a Ziploc bag or envelope marked with the student’s name and teacher. Remember all BONUS Tops should be put separately in an envelope and not glued or taped on to the collection sheet. For participating product please visit www.boxtops4education.com

Another easy way to support the PTO is to participate in the Labels for Education clip-and-save program. This is an on-going program during the school year. For each label that is returned to the school, we earn points that are redeemed for products that are used by the learners at school. Just put your clipped labels in and envelope or ziploc bag marked with student name and teacher and return them to school. Thanks for your support! For participation products please visit www.labelsforeducation.com

Funding Factory is 100% free Fundraising–thru-recycling program where the Brentwood Community can earn cash rewards while protecting the environment. Funding Factory collects used inkjet and toner cartridges, cell phones, MP3 players, GPS Devices, digital cameras, laptops and headsets. Please send used items to school with your child in a bag or ziploc and he/she can drop them in the collection bins in the Primary and Intermediate hallways.

This program is a FREE iPhone and Android app that turns pictures of your shopping receipts into donations to Brentwood. It's quick, easy, and convenient – shop anywhere you want, buy whatever you normally buy. Just take a quick moment to snap a quick picture of your receipt and you've made an instant cash donation to Brentwood. Last year we earned over $350.00 52 supporters and over 300,000 points. Additional information can be found in the PTO YEARLONG FUNDRAISING PACKET.

The PTO’s main purpose is to promote the welfare of our learners. By supporting the PTO through its annual membership dues ($5.00 per family) and major fundraisers, it is able to supplement school programs with enriching experiences and materials for the benefit of all its learners!

The PTO will continue to provide these enjoyable events and experiences, but it does need the support of all its school parents and guardians. If you are interested in leading a committee or becoming a future PTO officer, a mentoring opportunity for the 2015-16 school year is available. The current committee coordinator will guide you through the process of planning and holding a successful event or fundraiser while the current officer will show you the ins and outs of his/her position. Leading a committee or holding an Officer position can be a “co” 2 person involvement. So why not ask a friend and work together as a future team. Here is a complete listing of committees that are open for mentoring: Book Fair, Brentwood Dances, Earth Week, Fall Fundraiser, Family Night, Hospitality, School Supply Kits, Spiritwear, Spring Fundraiser and all Officer positions(President, Vice, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary).

If you are interested in further information, please contact Anita Esho-Korkis at 847-962-9112 or email at [email protected].

Thank you for your support and have a great month!
