ENJOY A WILD WEST WEEKEND AND SUPPORT VALLEY MOMS FACING CANCER RECOVERY

SCOTTSDALE,AZ (July 1, 2010) – The Happily Ever After League (HEAL) is calling all cowboys, rustlers, card sharks, sharp shooters and saloon gals to be partners in HEALing by joining this local 501(c)(3) for their annual fundraising weekend event.

The fun starts Friday, September 24th at 1 pm at the TPC Scottsdale Champion course for what promises to be a real “show-down” of a golf classic. Gather up your posse and join the fun on the old shooting range. Cost $135/sharp shooter

The Wild West antics continue Saturday evening, September 25th at 6:30pm at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort. Join HEAL for a hearty barbecue and try your luck at the Cowboy Hat Toss. Be sure to sign up for the Texas Hold’em Tournament. You can two-step all night to the sounds of the Saguaro Sunset Band. Cost: $100/cowpoke

“We are delighted to be celebrating our 7th Annual Charity Weekend,” said HEAL founder Lauren Daniels. “This celebrates not only what our organization does, but also the women it helps. Every year the weekend raises money essential to helping moms with cancer on their road to recovery.”

The Happily Ever After League has raised over $500,000 and has helped over 450 moms in Arizona.

“The need for support doesn’t stop when the economy is slow, in fact we have seen an increase in the number of referrals,” Daniels says. “Now that we have started helping AZ moms facing cancer treatment, we have an obligation to continue supporting as many as we can and our Charity weekend helps HEAL do that!”

Come join the round-up! For more information on either event, call 480 275 0613 or visit the website www.happilyeverafterleague.org
