Elementary Music Discipline Plan

Rules 1. Students will treat each other in a respectful Christian manner. 2. Studens will work quietly so as not to disturb their classmates. 3. Students will keep their hands and feet to themselves. 4. Students will not play instruments out of turn.

Positive Reinforcements for following the rules 1. Praise and daily affirmations! 2. Feeling good about ourselves. 3. Playing singing games.

Consequences for not following the rules 1. Verbal warning 2. Loses participation in activity. 3. Separation from peers and note/phone call home. 4. Depending on the circumstances, the following might happen: *visit to the office *removal from class *stop, think, and plan sheet

Students always start fresh without any warnings at the beginning of each music class.

Band Discipline Plan

Rules 1. Students will treat each other in a respectful Christian manner. 2. Studens will listen in class, and not play their instruments when someone is talking. 3. Students will keep their hands and feet to themselves. 4. Students will not play someone else’s instrument.

Positive Reinforcements for following the rules 1. Praise and daily affirmations! 2. Feeling good about ourselves. 3. Creating beautiful music every rehearsal.

Consequences for not following the rules 1. Verbal warning 2. Loses participation in activity. 3. Separation from peers and note/phone call home. 4. Depending on the circumstances, the following might happen: *visit to the office *removal from class *conduct referral sheet
