Participants in this event are participating entirely at their own risk. See “Racing Rules of Sailing 2013-2016”, 4. Decision to Race. I have read and understand and hereby agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2013-2016 and any other rules and instructions that govern this Regatta. I hereby warrant that my yacht will be outfitted, equipped, and handled in accordance with these rules, that my yacht shall have all required equipment aboard, and shall be seaworthy in hull, rig, and gear, and shall be competently manned. I do, for myself, my heirs and assigns, my executors and representatives and administrators and all other persons of interest, hereby waive any and all claims that may accrue to me, or any of the aforementioned, against the race organizers (the organizing authority, race committee, host club, sponsors, or any other organization or official associated with the regatta). The race organizers shall not be responsible for any damage whatsoever to any boat or other property or any injury to any participant, including death, sustained as a result of participation in this event. By participating in this event, each participant, or in the case of minors, each participant’s parent or guardian agrees to release the race organizers from any and all liability associated with such participant’s participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law.
