Valuation Report Customer and Guarantor Acknowledgement

By signing this form, we ackn o w l e d g e that:

(i) the Ban k has made us awar e that the valuat ion of the property, obtained by the Ban k, is les s than the purch a s e price of the property.

(ii) we intend to mak e our own inquirie s and sati s f y ours el v e s that the price of the property is sati s f a c t o r y to us.

(iii) the valuation the Ban k obtained was used in the as s e s s m e n t of the loan and is for the Ban k’ s use only.

(iv) only the Ban k or its mortgage insurer (if any) can rely on the valuation the Ban k obtained. We are able to reques t a copy of the Ban k’ s valuation in need, how ev er, we cannot rely on the valuat ion for any purpos e.

(v) if we wi sh to obtain a valuation on whi ch we can rely, we must instru c t our own valuer to prepare a valuation report for our own use.

(vi) neither Ban k of Melbourne nor its mortgage insurer (if any) is liable for the valuation proce s s and/or any informat i on either cont ai n ed within or omitted from the valuat ion.

(vii) if the Ban k mak e s a loan on the secu ri t y of the propert y, it does not mean that the Ban k cons ider s the propert y to be worth as much as the purch a s e price of the propert y.
