Park West School Ski/Snowboard Club Come One, Come All!
Park West School will have an alpine (downhill) ski and snowboard club this year with 4 trips to Ski Martock planned. All students in grades 7-9 are eligible. Students at any skill level, from new skier/snowboarder to advanced, are encouraged to come and join the fun, get some exercise, meet new people and develop a life- long skill. (Group ski/snowboard lessons are included in the cost of each trip.) How It Works
The Ski/Snowboard Club operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Trips fill up very quickly.
In order to reserve a spot on any trip, you and your parent/guardian must:
read, complete and sign the Ski Martock Parental Permission and Release of Liability Form. It is expected that you will view the original colour version of this form on the Martock website http://martock.com/mountain/waivers.php (click on Parent/Guardian Release Rental Form)

submit a separate post-dated cheque for each trip you plan on attending . make cheques payable to “Park West Ski Club” . cheques should be dated for the date of each trip . cheques must have the student’s name clearly marked on them (Prices per trip are listed below.)

*Notes A spot on any trip will only be reserved once all forms are received and payment is made for each trip a student wants to go on. If you need to cancel, you must do so at least one week before the date of the trip to receive a full refund. Cancellation later than that will result in the transportation fee ($15.00) not being returned.

Should We Need To Cancel…
Weather conditions on the days of scheduled trips will influence whether or not we can go. If a trip must be cancelled due to weather conditions, students will be notified at the earliest possible time during the day. Cheques will be returned to them as soon as possible.
Prices Per Trip

Park West School Ski/Snowboard Club Guidelines:
Students must obey all instructions given by chaperones. All students must wear a ski helmet (included with equipment rental). The Terrain Park at Martock is considered out of bounds during school trips. Students are not permitted to ski/snowboard alone. They must either ski/snowboard with a buddy or a chaperone at all times. Skiers/snowboarders are not allowed on the hill until assessed by an instructor at Martock. Students are expected to behave in a manner consistent with the expectations set forth in the Park West Code of Conduct Matrix.
Any student who disregards these rules will lose all further ski club privileges and will meet with school administration regarding further disciplinary action.
Parents/Guardians Need To… Sign below indicating you have read, viewed and understood all required information. Provide a phone number(s) that they can be reached at during the ski trip. Parents will be notified by a staff member in the event of an injury. Inform trip organizers of any medical conditions that may need immediate attention, such as diabetes (insulin) or serious allergies (EPI Pen), etc. Arrange for transportation for your child from the school after the trip. Please be at the school no later than 9:00 PM to pick them up.
