Each week I will post a list of additional resources that may prove useful as you begin to plan your own leadership development program. This is just a hint of what you will find, when you begin your own search for the most pertinent resources for your own growth and development. We look forward to seeing what you discover as you begin searching.
You will find print resources, online research and professional journal articles, and some other online resources. I have updated this list, but only the most recent references follow the citation format from the sixth edition of the APA manual. The basic difference is that you won’t find the doi numbers listed for many of the journal articles.
These Resources focus on Standard 4 which deals with collaborating with diverse stakeholders to foster the success of all students (or organizational members). It involves responding to diver community needs and interests, as well as mobilizing community resource to support the success of students (or organizational members)

Virtual Leader Simulation This link takes you to an interactive, simulation called Virtual Leader. It provides a simulated meeting where you can try out your leadership skills. Then it discusses three principles of leadership: power, ideas and tension.
