Please check if you have all the needed documents for a successful application. A Ratiu 5.1 APPLICATION PACK should contain: Standard APPLICATION FORM (in hard and electronic format) Letter addressed to our Chairman (in hard format – original signed and dated) Updated CV (in hard and electronic format) Two (2) letters of recommendation (in hard format – originals dated and signed) – please do not send them separately but include them in the APPLICATION PACK. GUIDANCE

There are two deadlines yearly: 15 January, 15 August. The APPLICATION PACK should reach our offices by the application deadline. If it arrives after the deadline, it will enter the next board. Please allow 60 working days from the application deadline before receiving an answer to your request.

Do not send incomplete APPLICATION PACK. Do not use this form if you do not have all of the required documentation, as your application will be rejected.

In case your application might not be successful APPLICATIONS PACK is not to be returned. Please do not include originals of study documents as we can not return them.

In case your application is successful: - After receiving our acknowledgement, in order for us to transfer your grant, you should provide an UK bank account if your PROJECT or RESEARCH is going to take place in the UK. Payment of grant is made by bank transfer only. Transfer to be made at the beginning of PROJECT/RESEARCH period. Please mention if there are any special payment deadlines. You will receive from us a Payment Form to fill in the bank details. - The Ratiu trustees request that you send them a report at the completion of the project. - You should acknowledge the support of the Ratiu Foundation when and where appropriate. We shall send you our logo upon request. - While in the UK, you are invited to make a presentation in the Culture Power session, preferably at the completion of your PROJECT/RESEARCH. Necessary steps before starting an application process for a Ratiu grant: - Find your UK institution/partners (e.g. research centre, library, exhibition halls, theatre halls etc.) through your own findings. We cannot provide assistance in this matter. - Obtain an offer/place from an UK institution - Apply/obtain other funds/grants. - Read all info on our web site carefully (www.ratiufamilyfoundation.com).
