2017 Camp Lakota Bus Transportation Schedule & Sign Up

Dear Parents,

Below is the Bus transportation plan for Camp Lakota 2017. It is imperative that each family provide us with the transportation choices for your camper/s. We ask each family to let us know which bus location your camper will be "departing from" and which location they will be "returning to." We have provided a Bus Choice Form which we ask you to have back by June 1.

We ask all campers to take our bus service to camp. It is an exciting "rite-of-passage" which also provides the smoothest transition for both campers and parents. When our buses arrive at each departure point, you will be greeted by our counselor "bus team" as well as by our "bus captain." Please locate the bus captain and check in your camper/s. Please be sure to give the bus captain any medications that you have brought along for your camper/s.

We provide buses on our opening day, Sunday June 25th and our final day of the summer, Saturday, August 12th, 2017. For our shorter session campers, we request that you plan on car pickup and drop off during our Switch-Over weekend. So for those campers going home after our first 4 week session, Sat. July 22nd, we ask that you DEPART by family car, and for those campers beginning our final three week session, Sun. July 23rd we ask that you ARRIVE by family car.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND CONTACTS:

Please be sure to arrive at each departure location at least 30 minutes prior to departure, we will be unable to wait for any late parents and campers. In the event of a weather emergency or some other unexpected occurrence that may alter bus travel, we will notify all families by calling your home phone. Departs Macy's in Manhasset, Long Island on Community Drive at 10:00 am

Departs JCPenney Parking Lot at the Woodbridge Center Mall Woodbridge, New Jersey at 9:30 am (428 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge Township, New Jersey)

Departs Montvale, New Jersey "Park and Ride" Rest Stop on the Garden State Parkway at 10:45 am (Bus will be on South Side of Restaurant Building)

Departs 555 White Plains Rd, Tarrytown NY - Office Complex, at 11:00 am

We do not live within the tri-state region and are planning to get to camp via ______

Saturday August 12th, 2017 - Last Day of Season

My Camper/s, ______will be taking the bus selected below, home from camp on the final day of the summer, Saturday, August 13th, 2016.

Returns to Macy's in Manhasset Long Island on Community Drive at 1:00 pm

Returns to JCPenney Parking Lot at the Woodbridge Center Mall Woodbridge New Jersey at 1:00 pm

Returns to Montvale New Jersey "Park and Ride" Rest Stop on the Garden State Parkway at 12:00 noon (Bus will be on South Side of Restaurant Building)

Returns to 555 White Plains Road Office Complex, Tarrytown, New York at 12:00 noon

We do not live within the tri-state region and plan for our camper to return home
