REQUEST FOR GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTORS TO APPLY FOR LISTING ON ESKOM’S

VENDOR DATABASE

Eskom is currently embarking on a process of pre-qualifying all B-BBEE compliant general building contracting companies (preferably QSE, LME levels 1 – 4 and EME level 3). We want to focus on Black women owned, Black youth owned, Black people living with disabilities and

Black-owned companies. The contracting companies should be registered or should have the capability of being registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and they should currently be registered on the Eskom vendor database or have the potential to be registered.

The typical scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following categories of work:

Construction of standardised Eskom facility at Delft CNC and Vredenburg CNC in the Western

Cape Province. The building is to have an energy efficient installation and to be PWP friendly and compliant with all statutory requirements and regulations

The Construction of this facility is to have the following Components:

 Survey and Levelling

 Building including offices and double volume stores building

 Vehicle wash bay and bounded transformer store  Double truck port

 Car ports

 Stores yard

 Boundary wall

responsive and it will not be considered further.
