ii Discovery Report Template I. General Information This section should include a description of the watershed or project area (size, number of communities, major streams, etc.). No specific format is required. Delete this text when this section is completed.
1 Discovery Report Template II. Watershed Stakeholder Coordination This portion of the Discovery Report details the activities that occurred during the Watershed Stakeholder Coordination phase of Discovery. This section should include a summary of how watershed stakeholder coordination was completed in the watershed (whether by phone interviews, conference calls, web-based interviews, or other web- based communication type, etc.) Notes on conversations, emails, call logs, etc., may be photocopied or scanned and used as an appendix or other attachment. This section should include a list of stakeholders contacted, either as a table in this section, an attached list, or by referencing a table in the Discovery Map database. No specific format is required. Delete this text when this section is completed.
2 Discovery Report Template III. Data Analysis For all data or information collected, a brief summary and analysis should be provided. This section should be divided into two sections: Data that can be used for Flood Risk products (regulatory and non-regulatory) and Other Data and Information. i. Data that can be used for Flood Risk Products This section will be used for listing topographic data availability and other data that can be used in Flood Risk Products (such as building footprints that can be used for refined Hazus analysis). No specific format is required. Delete this text when this section is completed.
ii. Other Data and Information This section will be different for each watershed, and should contain thoughtful analysis of the data and information as opposed to lists of data and information. No specific format is required. Delete this text when this section is completed.

Discovery Meeting This section should include the Discovery Meeting date(s), location(s), organizations represented, agenda(s), and meeting notes including action items and decisions made. These documents can be summarized here or attached as an appendix. No specific format is required. Delete this text when this section is completed.
4 Discovery Report Template V. Appendix and Tables Include a table, list, or link to the contacts made during the Watershed Stakeholder Coordination phase. Include information about how the stakeholder wishes to be contacted, if appropriate and available (for instance, prefers email or prefers telephone contact).
