The City of Kingston S Parks and Recreation Department Is Now in the Planning Phase Of

Dear Business Patron, Spring is right around the corner, and here at the City of Kingston’s Parks and Recreation Department, we have already begun planning and coordinating this year’s July 4th celebration. To appeal to public demand we have some EXCITING CHANGES for 2017 “Smokin’ The Water” festival. Instead of the boat races, we are hosting a barbeque cook-off and adding bigger and more legendary musical acts to the venue. Former Allman Brothers Band member and Grammy award winner, John Neil, and world – renowned rockabilly band, the Royal Hounds, are just two that will be performing. Also, more games and amusements for children and young adults will be added, such as a rock climbing wall, laser tag and a mechanical bull. The price tag to host this huge community–wide event, is approximately $45,000, and we depend on civic-minded people like you for support. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO GO OVER THE ENCLOSED SPONSORSHIP LEVELS, AND SEE HOW YOUR BUSINESS CAN BENEFIT FROM THE VARIOUS ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED TO TARGET THE MANY CONSUMERS IN ROANE AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. The deadline is Wednesday, May 31st, however, sending in your donation now helps us secure those items that we must pay for in advance of this event. Things like: fireworks entertainment children’s and youth games/activities ad space equipment Also keep in mind, for those wanting booth space at the event, space is limited and is on a first- come, first-serve basis.

STAR LEVEL- $1000 ... all of the above four level perks plus...  Recognition mention on 30 second radio ad on 106.1 fm "The River"  Recognition on a 2’ x 2’ sign posted on Race St. at Gravel Pit for July, Aug. and Sept.  Two additional VIP viewing passes (4 - total), one additional VIP parking pass (2 – total), and one additional T-shirt (2 - total)

NOTE: With each of the following sponsorships, sponsor will receive 1- complementary event T-shirt, 2 - VIP Viewing passes and 1- complementary VIP parking pass.

Stage Sponsor: $800 - Sponsor will be advertised as stage sponsor on a 3’X 8’ banner hung at the stage, highly visible to all the public.

Fireworks Viewing Glasses - $600 – Sponsors name and/or logo printed on special glasses that enhance the viewing of the fireworks show to be given out at your place of business and at the event.

Flag-Banner $600 - Sponsor’s name and logo displayed on a light pole flag- banner placed along Race or Kentucky Street (limited slots, sponsors choice based on a first - come, first-serve basis)

Raft Race: $500 - Sponsor will be advertised as raft race sponsor on a 3’x 8’ sign located at the boat ramp in City Park during the event and for a week following the event. Sponsor announced at the raft race.

Car Show: $500 - Sponsor will be advertised as car show sponsor on a 3’ x 8’ sign at the car show and on car-show entry form.

Inflatable Sponsor: $500 – Sponsor supports one children’s inflatable and a sign advertising sponsor’s business, will be placed at the inflatable during the event.
