Events in BOLD are required for ALL choir members involved in order to earn credit for class. Serious illness or a death in the family, are the only acceptable excuses for missing a required performance. Excuses for missing ALL or PART of a rehearsal, written and signed by a parent, must be submitted in writing prior to the rehearsal, or no later than upon the student’s return to school. Notifications of absence that are not EARLY and CONSIDERATE (2 weeks ahead of time) will not be honored, at my discretion, and will affect that student’s grade significantly. Trips, non-school related activities and jobs are NOT acceptable excuses. Students are required to remain at all activities until dismissed by the director. Thank you for your consideration.
