o Treasurer’s Report – Given by S. Franz o Balance - $3194 o Paid Memberships to Date: approx. 34 o Any new members – Marlin to check mail at Radcliff Schwinn o Upcoming bills - none o Anybody owed money ?

o 2006 Officer Nominations – This can and should continue through Oct. via e-mail or any other means available.

WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO THROW THEIR NAME IN THE RING, OR SOMEONE ELSES! VOTING IS IN NOVEMBER!!!!

o Weekly Ride Schedule Topics –Vic o Weekly Rides – Next Week is last week for Tue/Wed Road rides o Discussed nightly MTB rides with lights, if anyone is interested they should post a ride o Saturday Ride – move to 9:00 AM for now o Other Rides: Members to post rides when they want to ride, both MTB and Road o Up and Coming Events: o Christmas party on Dec. 10th at Jeff Richardson’s house – Mark this on your calendars o Upcoming Rides: . Hilly Hundred: Oct. 15th-16th (Ellettsville, IN) . Great Ghost Rider Ramble: Oct. 29th (St. Leon, IN) o 1,500 mile Competition Status . To be recognized at the Christmas Party . Two “Traveling” trophies will be issued, one to recognize the 1st person to reach 1,500 miles and the lowest mileage participant at the conclusion of the competition. Name plaques will be inscribed with the persons name and this person will retain the trophy for 1 year, at which time a different member will take over “ownership”. o Race Team Relationship with CKW o Officers need to sit down with the Race Team to discuss their relationship o Possibly form a Race Team Committee with at least one Team member, one officer and a few other members to handle affairs of the Team, This committee should also be responsible for organizing the MTB events (The MTB Race Committee) o Money Sponsorship requirements for 2006? o Race Team participation should be open to all members o They will be a separate entity that must vie for club $’s, resources, etc. o All Race Team members must also be a member of CKW o At least one Race Team Member should hold one of the 5 club officer positions o Misc. Topics o Hardin Co. Road Tour extra T-shirts – all members to get one free but you must attend a meeting or come to the Christmas Party to get it. o Need to have a monthly or quarterly news letter (Scott/Kevin to develop format) o Parking Lot at Younger’s Creek – Told the county committed to putting this in. o Suggest members get credit for working events – Work one event, get paid fee or $’s for another (OKHT, Harvest Home Coming, etc.) o Younger’s Trail Maintenance - date to be set for Oct./Nov., I’m guessing the trails need a lot of work o Next Meeting o Nov. 3rd – 6:00 PM @ Winker B’s? o Meeting to elect 2006 officer’s
